Anopther gorgeous spring day! and I had a loverly lunch outside in the bright sunshine, and realized how deathly pale we both are.

Now I’m not a big fan of sun-bathing, and definitely wish to hang onto my youthful peaches-and-cream complexion, :-P, but I may have to put a little sun into my life. If ever so slightly. I could blind people currently.

The countdown continues. Matt will be up here next friday– and I cannot wait. There is so much I wish I could say right now, but prudence bids me hold my tongue.

But that makes it hard to talk.

Anyway, my foot is SO much better now! I actually put it in a shoe this morning!! The toe is looking bad. It’s not the right color or orientation any more. But at least it doesn’t hurt, which is all I really care about. 😉

I’m in Computer apps right now. Such a looong class.I ll be doing this until 3:30. BUT THEN. Then after class, and I will be striking out to the art supply store to get items required for one of our classes.

It’s a beautiful day for a walk. le sigh

*blissfull sigh*

I had such lovely dreams last night. I could wax poetic (and have done, ahem) but i don’t wish to subject you all to my saccharine musings. 😉 Knowing how anti-romance I typically am when not in an altered state of consciousness, I will try to be mindful of you folks, even in the midst of my own twitterpation.

But it’s a beautiful day. At 10 AM it is already 58 degrees, and every dorm window I can see is open. Spring has sprung, folks, and it is gorgeous.

I wish I wasn’t tied to a desk all day today. And that my foot were just a tad better. I’d walk to Rittenhouse Square, or maybe just out to Logan Circle and have a coffee and just soak it all in.

My foot is sooo much better today. I took the tape off last night and was horrified by what i saw. It looks nasty, but the swelling has gone down, and I can put some weight on it. I have dispensed with the cane anyway. But I’m still walking around in teh fuzzy pink slippers. Yeah, I look real professional today.

le sigh I wanna go outside… Well, there are other things I want slightly more than that, cough, but for now, I’d settle with just being outdoors. 😉

“Never a dull moment with you, is it?”

So spoke Jeanet in Student Sertvices this afternoon when she saw me hobbling in on a cane.

Yep, Folks, the Mistress of Disaster has struck again with a broken toe. It happened Saturday night when I attempted the ever-daunting task of — dun dun DUNNNN ascending the stairs. I tripped on the first step, slammed my shoulder into the bannister, crashed to my knees and slid down on my face.

Just call me Grace.

So I’m a wee bit sore and bruised, but I think that getting around is such an ordeal now, that it has to be burning more calories than typical walking about behaviors. That’s right, I keep on the Sunny Side, always on the sunny side.

Speaking of which, that particular song has been stuck in my head all day. If anyone has any suggestions for a reasonable replacement, I will gladly accept them here.

In an hour I am due to my Exec Suite work study type thing. I already warned them that I am unable to jump wfor copies every five minutes like I’m usually expected to do. Not sure what they will have for me, since… well… that’s my job, and all, but … maybe they’ll just let me answer phones.

Hm. We’ll see.

Thanks to all who have been offering prayers for healing– i do feel a lot better, and am sure I will have a (relatively) quick recovery.

Where Am I?
